What To Do When You're Thinking of Resigning from Your Current Job
There are no best answers to this question particularly when you've been thinking lately of moving on from your current job to another. As they say in business school, "it depends on the situation." The answer lies deep in your heart plus all other practical and logistical considerations:
1) Don't resign at once.
2) Pray things over.
3) Talk to your reliable coaches and mentors (who have to be trustworthy, and preferably not your co-employees, or worst, more senior in rank than yourself--they usually have vested interests which are complex to discern).
4) Talk to a credible headhunter or an outside recruiter to discuss your job search options, and for you to get a better feel of the job market.
5) Plan details out, and write them down. Revise them when necessary.
6) Take your time.
7) Take action.
If in case you're decided on resigning, be assured that it's actually the best decision you'll ever make. Take lead of your own life, and take a huge leap of faith. Here's my own experience about it "Leap of faith: When quitting your job is the best move for your career"
